Mediation and mindfulness are such useful tools for renewing and refreshing – here at Canopy HR, we’re big fans. And whilst guided mediations and visualisations are popular for good reason, we think it’s important to avail yourself of another really beneficial – and beautiful form of it – music. It can soothe, inspire, create a space to open your mind, free it of negative emotions, express the unsaid, or allow new thoughts and perspectives to filter through: there is DEFINITELY music for every mood.

If your first thought to this is scepticism, consider this scientific fact: your heartbeat changes in response to the rhythm of the music you’re listening to… which makes complete sense, really…

Here are just a few of our suggestions, with a broad mix of styles, genres, old and new – some might be well known to you, some might be completely new, but we hope all are useful, and encourage you to explore other pieces that work for you personally, for good days, bad days, and all others in between.
